1 Operation
1.1 Charging
The Nvidia 3D Vision 2 glasses must be charged before use with the supplied USB cable. Make sure to insert the USB connector gently into the glasses. Excessive force may break the glasses and/or short-circuit the cable.
During charging, the green LED on the left side flashes, which turns off when the battery is fully charged. Charging may take up to 4 hours. Disconnect the cable after use (glasses will not work while the cable is connected). Fully charged glasses usually last for several days.
1.2 Switch on 3D glasses
Press the power button on the left side of the glasses shortly. The green LED will light for a few seconds.
Note: The glasses will stay on as long as they receive an infrared signal from the simulator (i.e. simulator is running). To save battery power, remove them from the simulator.
1.3 Switch off 3D glasses
3D glasses will switch off automatically when they don’t receive the infrared signal from the simulator for several minutes.
2 Troubleshooting
3D display and 3D glasses of your simulator are configured and tested at the factory, so normally you don’t need to change anything. If you want to install new hardware or encounter problems with the stereo viewing, please check the following settings.
2.1 Transmitter
- The 3D transmitter must be attached to the USB cable (dark green power indicator is on).
- The indicator turns bright green when a 3D signal is available.
2.2 Position
There must be an unobstructed view from the 3D glasses to the transmitter.
If you have several simulators running in one room, your glasses may receive signals from other simulators. If 3D appears unstable, move the simulators so that your glasses can see one of the transmitters only.
If the glasses are working, but you don’t get a proper 3D impression, use the glasses upside down to see if left and right eyes are reversed. In this case, swap the eyes in the NVIDIA Control Panel (see below).
2.3 Display Settings
Check the NVIDIA Control Panel and the Windows display settings.
