VOXEL-MAN and SeeFront have presented a VOXEL-MAN ENT surgery simulator with an autostereoscopic 3D display. This innovative technology allows to see brilliant three-dimensional images of the virtual surgical site and experience its spatial depth without wearing 3D glasses. It can be used e.g. for microscopic or 3D endoscopic interventions. A fully functional prototype will be showcased at the upcoming Annual Meeting of the German ENT Society in Berlin.
SeeFront is a leading developer of autostereoscopic, i.e. glasses-free 3D displays. An integrated tracking system enables the user to move freely within a large area in front of the stereoscopic display and get a natural 3D impression at any position.
